What a whirlwind of a year it has been! After too long of a blogging hiatus, I’ll catch you up to speed on some of the work I’ve been doing for Neighborhood SEEN and The Detroit Jewish News.
I’ve had a blast writing (I can’t believe it’s been over two years)! I am enjoying it so much that I am looking to pursue a writing-oriented career full time, whether it be digital media, print, or a bit of both.
Below are a handful of articles I’ve written over the past several months, mostly for the JN. All were delightful to write and I met some great people in the process. I think my favorite piece was on Nu Deli, a funky food truck featuring a mash-up of Jewish and Indian food. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever tasted, and the founder, Matt Daniels, is a total food genius! https://thejewishnews.com/2017/06/22/nu-deli-brings-new-taste-detroit/

While my work has been super rewarding, I have to keep in mind that C&K is the reason I got writing in the first place. It just goes to show that you never know where a little blog can take you.
